Ecosystem Update: ChainGuardians, Cryptoverse, and ChainBoost | July 14th

Welcome to the first edition of the ChainGuardians Bi-Weekly update! This new initiative is designed to increase transparency and improve communication of ecosystem development updates, advancements, and progress points. We are ecstatic to share more insights into how hard our teams have and are continuing to work to create a truly unique #GuardiansGather experience. Let’s get into it!

ChainGuardians DAO

Yes, you read that correctly. As ChainGuardians advances, the central mechanism for communal input will include Governance. As some may remember, Governance was initially slated for rollout in 2021; however, the creation of ChainBoost and the inception of Cryptoverse were crucial to establishing a more meaningful governance function. We’re pumped (and you should be too!) to share that the ChainGuardians DAO website has undergone initial UX design and architecture.

Governance updates will be frequent in this bi-weekly ecosystem initiative.

Mining 2.0 Progress

For those unfamiliar with Mining 2.0, it’s kind of a big deal. We’re talking about increased gamification, improved utility, guilds, and increased opportunities for cohesive collaborations and expanded rewards!

Currently, our team is continuing logistical analysis and development applications. Mining 2.0 will revolutionize the gamified NFT DeFi experience within the ChainGuardians ecosystem. Captain Devex holders… are you paying attention? Now is a great time to start building your guild ranks and networking.

Pool Mining Upgrade

Okay, we were a bit off with the expected restoration date… but that is good news! Solo Mining is still active for NFT holders; however, Pool Mining remains offline as we continue to optimize a few unforeseen details. The Dev team is rolling out successive quality-of-life RPG builds to ensure that the back-end is aligned in preparation for the Pool Mining upgrade; keep a close eye on the DEV LOG in our Discord; we will announce restoration upon production release.

The upgrade includes improved UI changes, cleaned-up code, and several branding enhancements.

RPG Lore Expansion

The ChainGuardians lore continues to evolve and expand. After all, we are the original Blockchain Superheroes. If you remember playing the RPG for the first time, there was a fun dialogue… yeah. That’s going to be expanded significantly.

The team has ideated and finalized lore for the four existing worlds: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dash. Additional efforts shape the furtherance of protagonist and antagonist storylines — building out and creating deep emotional ties to the world and character-specific LORE. Can you say Blockchain Superhero comics featuring Bitsee, Binancio, and Seth? Yeah, that sounds pretty cool to us also.

RPG Stage Development

If you’ve stayed up to date with our Dev AMAs, this won’t be a massive surprise. Each stage and world should feel special and unique. Endless robot warriors are one thing, but we’re thinking of more unique enemies, world-specific antagonists, and more — part of that larger strategy and architecture requires a unique spin on existing stage design. See the attached photo.

RPG User Interface

Improvements all the way around! Some UI enhancements continue within the purview of stage design, inventory, combat set-up, and more! RPG development continues to make good progress. We hope to share more information on timeframes and future outlooks in the next bi-weekly ecosystem update.

Captain Devex NFT Plunderdrop

To (possibly) overshare here, we’re moving to create an extremely special experience for our NFT holders — this means NFT-only events, newsletters, whitelistings, raffles, access passes, and more (to share a few). With the upgrade to NFT Pool mining, we are commencing a celebratory Captain Devex Plunderdrop. All Captain Devex holders that enabled pool mining when Pool Mining was disabled will be ‘Plunderdropped’ 100 USDC (on Polygon) per Captain Devex mining pool. We’ll post an announcement upon distribution which will happen in close proximity to the new Pool Mining release.

Okay, okay, okay. Cryptoverse LAND Minting event has concluded and was promptly succeeded by two massive competitions: CGG on Kucoin and LAND on Cryptoverse Marketplace. With great delight, the Cryptoverse team is working to include two highly requested marketplace features: a notification system and a more user-friendly offer structure.
