All the details you need to know to understand your Zombunnies!

Attention Boosters — here are all the Zombunnies details you’ve been waiting for!

While Zombunnies are focused on amping up your digital identity with a fresh take on PFP culture, that’s not all they have to offer! These malevolent manifestations of the fear, uncertainty, and doubt that a sometimes malign market inspires also offer utility across the ChainGuardians ecosystem, amplifying the effectiveness a user’s activities have when participating across the ChainGuardians, ChainBoost, and Cryptoverse platforms.

There are several ways in which Zombunnies affect a user’s experience:

NFT Mining

The ChainGuardians NFT Mining platform rewards community members for their daily participation with the chance of mining rewards based on their hashrate. This quantity is calculated by adding together the individual hashrates of up to nine qualifying NFTs selected from among those held in the user’s wallet.

BoostScore

BoostScore is the means of measuring a ChainBoost user’s participation across the ChainGuardians ecosystem. ChainBoost rewards users’ participation with the chance to gain early access to the promising NFT and GameFi projects launching on its innovative incubator/launchpad platform.

Zombunnies BoostScore will be a separate category from ChainBunnies BoostScore. It will have its own scoring mechanisms and its own maximum score. Burned ChainBunnies will RETAIN their BoostScore value. Users may burn as many ChainBunnies as they like — all of their burned bunnies will maintain their current BoostScore value up to the 500-point maximum. The resulting Zombunnies will add their BoostScore on top of the existing ChainBunnies BoostScore.

There are five different ways to accumulate BoostScore from Zombunnies:

1) Hold ChainBunnies + Buy Zombunnies

The criteria for this category are simple: you must hold at least 1 ChainBunny NFT and purchase at least 1 Zombunny. Users who do so will be eligible for a 25% BoostScore bonus on their collective Bunny holdings, for 1250 points maximum: 500 ChainBunnies BoostScore + 500 Zombunnies BoostScore + 25% of the total.

2) Burn ChainBunnies + Buy Zombunnies

This category is for users who choose to burn their ChainBunnies and purchase additional Zombunnies. The maximum BoostScore for this category is 1250: 500 burned ChainBunnies BoostScore max + 750 Zombunnies BoostScore max.

If a user chooses to HOLD, BURN, AND BUY — the combination of BoostScore from held ChainBunnies + burned ChainBunnies will max out at 500 BoostScore. The purchase of Zombunnies combined with the holding of ChainBunnies means that the user will be eligible for the 25% bonus (per the first category).

3) Burn ChainBunnies Only

This category is for users who do not purchase any Zombunnies, but rather elect to burn all of their ChainBunnies supply. This results in a maximum 1,000 BoostScore: 500 burned ChainBunnies BoostScore + 500 Zombunnies BoostScore.

4) Buy Zombunnies Only

For users who only purchase Zombunnies with no ChainBunnies holdings: 1,000 Zombunnies BoostScore maximum.

5) Obtain One-of-a-Kind

Like Goldie & Liquorice ChainBunnies, the one-of-a-kind Zombunnies will each contribute 500 to BoostScore. There is no maximum for this category. If a user mints multiple one-of-a-kind Zombunnies, each one will be added to their BoostScore, with no maximum cap. The 500-point bonus for one-of-a-kind Zombunnies is transferable through NFT transfers and secondary sales.

Note: The +25% bonus to maximum ChainBunnies + Zombunnies BoostScore applies to whitelisted purchases only and is not transferable through NFT transfers or secondary sales.

So now the question… how is the Zombunnies BoostScore calculated?

Your Zombunnies BoostScore will result from the rarest classification of traits (common, silver, gold) present and the number of traits your Zombunny possesses (more traits = higher BoostScore).

The Zombunnies BoostScores are as follows:

  • Common: 125–200
  • Silver: 225–300
  • Gold: 325–400
  • One-of-a-Kind: 500

Example: If you hold a Common Zombunny (no silver or gold traits) with the maximum eight traits, the BoostScore for that Zombunny will be 200 points. If your common Zombunny has only five traits, the resulting BoostScore will be 125.

Similar to the prior generation of ChainBunnies, implementing the Zombunnies BoostScore will take time. We will make a formal announcement when these scores have been added!

Rarities

Rarities go hand in hand with the collectibility of your Zombunny, giving you an idea of just how desirable the unique set of traits the FUD tank assigned your abominable bunny might be.

Rarities for ChainBunnies were primarily determined by color, such as Gold, Black, Purple, Pink, etc. While Zombunnies will feature various colors, these colors will not play a role in Zombunny rarity. Instead, rarity will be determined by the number of traits, the presence of rare traits, and the total circulating supply of Zombunnies. Zombunnies may have as few as five (5) traits and as many as eight (8) traits, including background color, Zombunny color, and the inclusion of various items or weapons.

While the number of traits aids in the rarity of Zombunnies (more traits = higher rarity), the number of traits is not the sole factor of rarity. Rarity will also depend on the rarity of individual traits:

  • 5 “One of a kind” (otherwise known as 1/1s) — 0.1%
  • 50 Gold Traits — 1%
  • 157 Silver Traits — 3.14%
  • 195 Killer GF Traits — 3.9%
  • 4593 Common Traits — 91.86%

NOTE: Even Zombunnies with solely common traits may be rarer than the others. For example, a Zombunny with eight common traits will likely be rarer than a Zombunny with only five common traits. As the minting of traits is based on probabilities, the rarity of your Zombunnies also depends on the total circulating supply (how many Zombunnies are purchased + how many are minted through the burning of two ChainBunnies). The probabilities published apply to the total possible supply of 3000 Zombunnies — it is not expected that every ChainBunny will be burned, as ChainBunnies offer unique advantages of their own!

ChainGunnies

Last but not least among the perks granted by your Zombunny is access to the ChainGunnies FPS, including early access to the Co-op and Battle Royale modes not yet available to ChainBunnies holders. Be among the first brave souls to team up against advanced waves of the Zombunny horde to clear unprecedented levels, or go head-to-head against some of your best Bunny-holding buddies, it’s your choice!

In-game bonuses and additional playability for Zombunny holders may be unlocked in future updates to ChainGunnies — stay tuned!

Zombunification — the Time is Nigh!

The undead potential of ChainBunnies lay dormant until unleashed by Tangerine’s unfortunate encounter with FUD weaponized by the Gatekeepers, resulting in an unprecedented expression of angst-driven chaos. Zombunnies PFPs offer the opportunity to participate in new frontiers of digital identity and community built around the ideas and ideals directing the development of a decentralized and democratic blockchain-based future, featuring a lighthearted embrace of the dark side.

The Zombunification Event kicks off on Halloween: October 31, 4 PM UTC. This event includes the Halloween 666 VIP Zombunnies Sale in which 666 Zombunnies will be available to whitelisted buyers at a discounted price of .09 ETH.
